Specimen bonsai
Trees with years of work behind them: wired, repotted and styled by Luca in the nursery in Merate. Each one is photographed as it ships. One tree, one buyer.

One tree, one buyer
Every tree here is a single plant. When it sells, its page says so and it leaves this list.

Luca Valagussa raised these trees from seedlings or collected them, and has trained them for 5 to 30 years. Each page tells what he did and what he would do next.

What a specimen is at Treevaset
A specimen bonsai is a tree that already has a trunk, a line and a structure: the years of letting it grow and cutting it back are done, and what remains is refinement. Height and pot are on each page, measured without the pot.
Each page shows the tree from several sides, lists species, age, years in training, height and pot, and tells the story of that tree and what Luca would do next. If you want more photos or a video before buying, write to him on WhatsApp.

Questions before you buy
Is delivery really included?
Yes. The price on the page includes packing and shipping to the 18 EU countries we deliver to. Nothing is added at checkout.
Can I reserve a tree?
No. Each tree is a single plant and goes to the first completed order. If it sells, the page says so.
Will the tree look like the photos?
Yes. Every tree is photographed as it ships, in the same pot. Where a sacrificial branch is still on the tree, the page says so; Luca removes it before shipping.
Can I see more photos or a video?
Yes. Each page has a WhatsApp button with the tree’s name already filled in. Luca answers himself.
Want Luca’s opinion before you choose?
Tell him what you would like to do with the tree and he will say which one he would pick.
